Energic 518 tracteur (available from 1952 to 5/1956).

Energic Tractor 518 – moteur Peugeot 203.

Engine/Moteur. 4 cylinder, 4 stroke (4 temp) OHV (Soupapes en tete), 1290cm3 Peugeot 203,18/22cv (1750 rpm 18cv/ 2400 rpm 25cv). Liquid-cooled with radiator with 6 blade fan (this engine was initially available in the Energic Tracteur 519 then replaced/superseded by the Peugeot 403 engine).

Lubrication. By constant circulation of oil held within the sump of the engine – oil pump. Capacity 4 litres.

Cooling. Radiator (10 Liters) with rear 6 blade fan.

Starting. By crank or electric starter option.

Air filter/Cleaner. Metallic element in oil bath.

Gears. 6 forward and 3 reverse gears depending upon the options. This operates through a gear lever.

Differential. Blockable by a foot pedal (used for extra traction in very poor terrain where additional non-slip traction is required).

Reverse. 3 speeds are available in reverse.

Clutch. Disc type immersed in oil, within the engine casing. This operated from a pedal left-hand side on the tractor floor beneath the steering wheel,

Exhaust/Silencer. Fitted in a frontal position right-hand side, away from the driver.

Steering. Executed by the upright steering wheel, direct shaft on to gears that rotate a rack and pinion system.

Wheels. Pneumatic front tyres 400 x 15 and rear tyres 8 x 24.

Hitch. 3 point hydraulic lift/relevage (breveté S.G.D.G.) type – Dynabloc this was offered as a optional extra.

Battery. 12v 60ah.

Fuel consumption. 2 to 2 1/2 litres of fuel per hour dependent upon working conditions. the tank holds approx.** litres.

Carburettor type. Solex 32 RBI regulated to; Buse K 21, Cg 105, a 180, ralenti 45, air calibration u 100, s 10, float 11gr, air starter Ga 2.5, fuel starter 110. (regulated at 1800rpm Peugeot 203).

Weight. 1.020 tons, with wheel weights 1.112 tons

Front axles. Reinforced tubular front axles to withstand greater loads and width adaptability. The bonnet hinged forward for easy access to engine components, oil, fuel and servicing.

Brakes. Independent on each wheel, operated from pedals on the tractor floor, underneath the steering wheel right-hand side. A hand brake is also available operating on the 2 back wheels as stationary breaking.

Dimensions. 2m 48cms long, between the wheels 1.55m, the height of bonnet 1.22m, the height of seat .84m, 2m 20cms).

Optional equipment/adaptions. Energic 518 models; Dynabloc automatic lift, patented/breveté S.G.D.G., with pre-selected levels options, hitches for towing and ancillary equipment,

Here is the attellage attachment system for implements. A patented system is available on the Dynabloc automatic hydraulic and mechanical options.
