This is the 3rd Patissier patented engine used in the R7 then the 107, (The other 2 being the 500cc and 700cm3 petrol engines used in the 400 Motoculteur, 500 Tracteur and 700 Mototracteur ranges).

Engine. Energic, 7cv, Single cylinder, 2 stroke, Alésage 75mm x Course 75mm. Cylinder 330cm3, Air-cooled.

Lubrication. By 6-8% mix of oil in the fuel.
Carburateur. Solex 22 NH or Zenith 22 RX both automatic.
Magneto. Morel CT-1 or Lavalette.

Cooling. One large aluminium fan is mounted at the front of the engine, running on ball bearings. This system draws air into the hood circulating around the engine, ensuring cooling. this system was tested in extremely high temperatures and proved effective.

Starting. By hand cranking/turning the pulley at the front of the engine, usually with a cord.
Air filter/Cleaner. Metallic air filter.

Gears. 6 forward and 3 reverse gears depending upon the options. this operates through a lever.
Clutch. Multiple disc type are built within the gearbox immersed in oil, within the engine casing. This operated from a lever pulled up under the left-hand side of the steering wheel.
Exhaust/Silencer. Fitted to the right-hand side in a frontal position (viewed from the rear looking forward), away from the driver.

Steering. By directing the handlebars.
Wheels. Pneumatic Tyre wheels 500 x 15. The blockage is independent for each wheel.
Hitch. Manual universal hitch with metal pin to attach diverse ancillary equipment, ploughs, hoes, etc.

Pulley drive frontal. PTO.
Fuel consumption. Up to 1 1/2 litre of fuel per hour dependent upon working conditions.
Throttle control. Operated from the lever on the right-hand handlebar. The clutch on the left-hand side by means of an upward-moving lever.
Weight. 235kgs With additional wheel weights of approx. 25kgs single or (50kgs) double. Also, it is possible to fill the tyre with water for extra traction and weight.
