Operating levers Energic motoculteurs and Treuils.
The operating levers design is common across the Energic motoculteur range from B, B5, C7, D9. and G9 (G9 having only basic commands). It is the number of levers, their position and what they operate that changes.
The outer levers operate the wheel clutches, left and right. Push the lever forward and you engage the wheel clutch, blocking the wheel. To turn left you to engage the wheel clutch on the opposite side, driving the machine to the left and vice versa. Engaging both wheel clutches to promote the drive to both wheels for forward motion.
From the handlebars in the operator position; The right-hand side inner levers operate from 1st to 3rd gear with 2 neutral positions.
The Left-hand lever operates the inverse to go forward or backwards (reverse) with a neutral position in the centre.
The lever platform was across the handlebars for the standard machines. and for the left to right.
