Left in a field for a long time, move once a year to cut the grass. Unexpected gem yes an Energic motoculteur C7 B4L in all its glory. Very early number ranks it early in 1932. Some modifications to the wheels, fan blades inevitably missing (car fan installed), carburettor and air filter original. In fact the air filter had severe water damage causing complete outer metal shell failure. Chainguard and original chain in place (Yello). Excellent well worth the 821 kms round trip. I collected a plough the same day from another collector on my return – great for a long days rescue.

Rear PTO (Prise de force), very rare on these models. Excellent!
Interesting modification to the decompressor, hand-operated, along with many new colours, moss oil, paint. Astonishing.

Energic motoculteur C7 B4L What is left of the oil!
Gear reduction box looks like it was rust, but thankfully it was clean. Although what was left of the oil had turned to sludge.
Unusually the undercoat was green!, not seen that before. Perhaps a factory spec. change of colour for a customer.
The fuel tank had seen better days, but is salvageable with the right fillers, mesh etc and relining with plastic epoxy.
The piston was seized, but eventually worked out with no damage to the bore. Used an American product and tapered hardwood and a hammer – excellent.
