Energic series 200 Adjustable hub/axles. This system enables the user/operator to regulate the width of the wheels on the axles with just a 5 second one-touch adjustment. This hub adjustment system is operated by a lever that you flick open then rotate the wheel hub to the required position, then lockdown with the lever. This also can be aided with the use of the motor by engaging a low forward gear to move the wheel one way and reverse the other – quite ingenious. It enables you to alter each hub independently for infinite variable wheelbase widths depending upon your requirement for differing crops etc.
No more undoing 6 or 8 whel nuts and moving the heavy wheel in and out.
Here is the mechanism in more detail. You can see the principle of lifting the lever to release the plunger that sits in the grove of the axle, securing the position of the hub. Placing the lever down of flat engages the plunger into the groves and secures the hub in that position.
This enables an infinite variable axle/wheel width on these adjustable hubs. This width also depends upon the tyre dimensions on all the 200 series 204, 205 & 207.
With tyres 650 x 16 then the width is 0.60 m to 0.80 m. And with tyre dimension 500 x 15, it is 0.54 m to 0.74 m.
