Energic motoculteur D9 5BL as I found it!

Je viens de découvrir un moteur 500cc B5L mono cylindre 4 temps (motobécane produit enfin son premier moteur a 4 temps 100% maison). qui est dans un Energic de 1931/2. Je n’en ai jamais vu auparavant sur une plaque D9 / M9.

Son numero de série est tres bas, dans le milieu des 400, ce motoculteur ete donc produit avant la creation du S Bloc. (qui a debute pour les numero de serie au dessus de 500).

Il n’y a pas beaucoup de connaissances sur ces moteurs. Ces moteurs ete tout d’abord produit pour des motos, ceci pendant seulement une courte periode et en petite quantite. Meme sous la forme de moteur pour motos, ils sont rares. Donc pour en trouver un sur un motoculteur avec un carter Energic est encore plus rare.

Ceci est la seule image que je peux trouver sur internet de ce moteur, et c’est sur une moto.

Ceci est une découverte importante, et modifie mon histoire du début des motoculteurs Energic puisque ceci change le nombre de machines disponibles depuis 1931/2 (G9 treuil et dérivés modèles, 245CC B5, C7 B4L 350cc et le 500cc B5L (80mm x 98mm cours) monocylindre).

I have just discovered a 500cc B5L single cylinder 4 stroke engine (Motobécane is finally producing its first 100% inhouse 4 stroke engine). which is in a 1931/2 Energic. I have never seen one before on a D9 / M9 plate.

Its serial number is very low, in the mid 400’s, so this engine was produced before the creation of the S Bloc. (which started for serial numbers above 500).
There is not much knowledge about these engines. These engines were first produced for motorbikes, but only for a short time and in small quantities. Even in the form of motorbike engines, they are rare. So to find one on a tiller with an Energic crankcase is even rarer.

This is the only picture I can find on the internet of this engine, and it is on a motorbike.

This is an important find and changes my history of early Energic tillers as it changes the number of machines available since 1931/2 (G9 winch and derivative models, 245CC B5, C7 B4L 350cc and the 500cc B5L (80mm x 98mm courses) single cylinder).

I have just discovered a B5L 500cc moteured Energic motoculteur from 1931. I have never seen one before on a D9/M9 plaque with a very low serial number with an original brass plaque.

There is not much known about these engines, even in the motorcycle form, as they were only manufactured for a short period of time by Motobécane. They are very rare and sought after by motorcycle enthusiasts. They were manufactured for an even shorter period of time for Energic, with the Energic lettering on the crankcase, before the introduction of the S bloc.

This is a significant find and alters my history of early Energic motoculteurs. As it changes the range that was available later in 1931 to G9 (stationary, winch and derivatives models), B1 245cc, series 1 C7 B4L 350cc and now the rare as hen’s teeth B5L 500cc (80mm x 98mm course) single cylinder.
