Engine/Moteur. Single cylinder, luftgekühlt,Viertakt mit beiliegenden Seitenventilen (Lateral). The Energic motoculteur D9 develops 9hp (CV) from the S bloc motobecane.
Lubrication. By constant circulation of a gallon (4,5 litres) of oil from a separate reserve tank. The circulation pressure being attained from crankcase compression, und von flott gesteuert. (see oil ball float return valve).
Cooling. Zwei Aluminiumlüfter montierten einen an jedem Ende einer Querwelle, running on ball bearings lubricated from a turn grease cup. This system draws air into the hood circulating around the engine, ensuring cooling. Dieses System wurde bei extrem hohen Temperaturen getestet und hat sich als wirksam erwiesen.
Starting. By crank.
Air filter/Cleaner. Oil soaked metallic element.

Gears. Das Drei-Gang-Getriebe ist im Motor eingebaut.
Reverse. All three speeds are available in reverse. The application of reverse gear lifts the plough out of the ground. This is also used for manoeuvring the motoculteur.
Clutch. Mehrscheibentyp mit eingebautem Getriebe im Motorgehäuse.
Auspuff / Schalldämpfer. Fitted in a frontal position, away from the driver.
Steering. Independent wheel clutches makes steering very easy. De-clutching one wheel, and using reverse gear allows the motoculteur to be turned in its own width without undue effort.
Energic motoculteur D9 project Mont.
Wheels. Outside diameter 2ft 6 ins (76,2cms) fitted with angled lugs or spuds. Drei zusätzliche Gesamtbreiten zur Verfügung stehen; 23ins (58,42cms), 28ins ((71,12cms) and 33ins (83,82cms). This is obtained by reversing the wheels.
Hitch. All implements are attached to a swinging drawbar by means of a single pin. Ein patentiertes Gerät ermöglicht es dem Pflug, außerhalb der Breite der Motokulteure zu arbeiten, maintaining the draught from the centre of the motoculteur.
Ploughing depth. Up to 12 ins (30,48cms) dependent upon soil conditions.
Fuel consumption. Four hours per gallon of petrol. or 1 hour per 1,25 to 1,5 litres of fuel. the tank holds approx. 9 litres.

Here is a Energic motoculteur D9 motobecane S bloc fitted to a motocycle after internal gearing has been changed. Yes it can be done, but you need to manufacturer certain parts. The owner of this motocycle ironically said that they wished they had kept the motoculteur!
