All Energic chassis are of heavy durable construction of welded thick steel of 6mm to 20mm in thickness depending on the load and structure area.
The Energic motoculteur G9 chassis was designed before the single platform system of the Energic motoculteur B5, C7 B4L, C7 S Bloque de construcción y más tarde D9 S Bloque. The chassis for the Energic motoculteur B1 and B5 differs from that of the early Energic motoculteur C7 B4L’s in that the cradle for the engine is curved to a far greater degree to accommodate the 2 stroke moteurs. The Energic motculteur C7 B4L chassis from 1931/32 differed from that of the later Energic motculteur C7 S Bloc to accommodate the 2 different types of moteurs (both Motobécane). The Energic motculteur C7 4BL had no oil drain plug access hole on the right-hand side (visto desde el frente de la máquina). As oil drainage was through a different point.

The Energic motoculteur G9 didn’t use the basic platform chassis as the Energic motoculteur B5 and early Energic motoculteur C7 B4L’s – which was another reason why they were phased out in 1933. As it is important to minimize the variance in platform chassis, so you can standardize production, enabling higher output, and efficiency in production in the middle the to late 1930s.

Es cierto que la robustez del diseño general del chasis, the strongest materials used and the meticulous hand-finishing has meant that these motoculteurs have survived 80+ years. This over-engineering is a credit to Mr Patissier.
