Energic Tracteur 512

Energic tracteur 512 (available from April/1954).

Within the énergique 512 range, there were 2 models available Fermier and Vigneron. With different widths (model Vigneron between 0.85 m to 1.20 m) et garde-boue / bavolets comme ci-dessus – same specification engine/moteur, pont, vitesses etc.

Engine/Moteur. Sachs Single cylinder 604cm3, 12-14 cv, 2 stroke Air cooled, alésage 88 x course 100, (The same moteur as found in the 412 motoculteur, 412 treuil and 712 d). With a chamber of pre-combustion. Injection – Bosch. Compression 20:1.

Lubrication. By constant circulation of oil held within the sump of the engine, 3.5 litres. La circulation par pression pompée également à partir de la compression du carter. (Graissage par pompe incorporée).

Cooling. Refroidi par air avec un grand ventilateur en aluminium qui est monté à l'avant du moteur, running on ball bearings. This system draws air into the hood circulating around the engine, ensuring cooling. ce système a été testé à des températures extrêmement élevées et s'est révélé efficace. Injection. Bosch, tubulure haute pression, Injecteur de porte. Presser of injection 120 kg/cm3.

Starting. Electric starter moteur or by hand crank, direct on to the moteur, – located at the front of the engine.

Air filter/Cleaner. Metallic element in oil – (dependent upon the element that can be oil surface coated).

Steering. By worm gear.

Oil Reservoir. 2.5 litres.

Gears. La boîte de vitesses à trois vitesses est intégrée à l'offre de moteurs 6 forward and 3 reverse gears. At extra cost you could buy a reducer gearbox that would allow you 12 gears/speeds instead of 6. This gives you more options for fast/rampantes, normal/normales, slow/lentes – for road work to grass cutting. Effectively a 6 speeds rapid and 6 speed slow/lente.

Differential. Blockable.

Speeds. 1st gear 2.5 kmph, 2nd gear 3.8 kmph, 3rd gear 5.8 kmph, 4th gear 8 kmph, 5th gear 12 kmph, 6th gear 20 kmph.

PTO/Prise de force. Located at the rear of the tracteur. Available in all 6 gears.

Reverse. 3 speeds are available in reverse depending upon the options.

Brakes/Freins. The 512 is equipped with drum brakes, independent or together by foot pedal. With hand pull brake.

Clutch. Monodisque sec / Mono disque sec, within the chassis casing. PTO; front (revolving at the speed of the engine), side and rear (turning between 125 and 1800 rp/m). Clutch engagement for the PTO systems. ( PTO rear and side options).

Exhaust/Silencer. Fitted in a frontal position, away from the driver.

Magneto. Either Morel or Lavalette type. (Allumage par magnéto à déclic, assurant un démarrage instantanné).

Roues. 3 options; Pneumatic Tyre wheels front 400 x 15 and 8 x 24 Rear (Dunlop T 32 or Michelin CR). Wheel width is regular-able between in 9 stages between 0.53m and 1.15m. Brakes. On each rear wheel shoe type, pressure by manual foot pedals, independent that can be linked.

Hitch. 3 point lift manual, type automatique ou hydraulique Dynabloc. (depending upon the option selected). Breveté system S.G.D.G. (patented in France and the UK) articulated strengthened with universal fitment to all ancillary equipment. Enabling the adjustment of draft and other characteristics required to operate the implements at different depths. The Dynabloc automatic was tested some 200 000, lifting 250kgs, sans perte de capacité de levage.

Weight. With no accessories 765 kgs. Then really depends on the tracteur set up. An example a tracteur with 8 x 24 tyres + S type relevage dynabloc = 910kgs. Alternatively with tyres full of water + 78 kgs and metal wheel weights + 92 kgs. = 1080 kgs. Turning circle/Angle of safe working. 1.80m, it was able to operate safely at a maximum angle of 30 degrees at a width of 0.85 m.

The model Vigneron has a width min. 0.85 m, avec la largeur normale du modèle de 1.26 m.These are different to the Energic 511 Mark 1 tracteurs just by small amounts; length + 15 cms height at steering wheel + 10 cms and so on. The model Fermier was also available with side protectors for crops, Bavlotes angularies, at an extra price.

****Optional equipment/adaptions****

Electric pack. Starter, dynamo, with batterie 12v 45/60 ampères/heure avec le régulateur. Operating lights, front and rear, brake lights, plug for trailer/remorque, veilleuses et klaxon. Tous sont commandés à partir du panneau de commande avant.

****Mounting adaptions****

Energic tracteur 500 series with charrue brabant monosoc.

Bi-soc No 63 charrue coudée non réversible. With 2 positions for the blades either normal or décvaillonneur.Also available in many models adapted for the type of agricultural requirement. such as the depth of plough, 25 or 30 cms. Types including Bec de Canard, soc ordinaire. Décavaillonneur was used for work on plantations etc.

Tri-soc No 68/ No 63 charrue coudée non réversible. With 2 positions for the blades either normal or décvaillonneur.

****Plough Brabant 1/2 turn/tour****

Brabant 1/2 turn, Energic manufactured this plough with regularable width and depth of cut. Brabants 1/4 turn where available in 25 cms and 30 cms plough depth forms in cylindriques. Brabants are also availlable in 1/4 turn 25 cms and 30 cms plough depth forms in Hélicoidaux (soc rocheux). Upon demand they can be bought in allonges de versoirs, bec de canard, rasettes, pleine soc, porte socs etc.

****Hoes/Bineuse****

****Cultivateur****

The first photo shows a smaller rear only positioned cultivateur that can be lifted when not in use. The other 9 or 10 dents with supporting wheels.For working on plantations or and full/only soil. The whole width of the tracteur is worked. Operated at slower speeds in plantations.

****Hay/grass cutters****

Disponible en modernisation dans 2 positions, latéral ou arrière derrière le dynabloc ou la prise de force. It was regulable for height and angle. With 3 coupe dans la norme disponible du modèle, Danoise and Intermediate.

Le haut est la coupe Normale, le milieu l'Intermédiaire et le bas la coupe Danoise. The distance between the digits being 75 mm, 50 mm and 37.5 mm respectively.

Les lames ont été facilement changées pour l'entretien ou en cas de casse / remplacement. The cutter/barre de coupe blade being 1.37m in width. L'option peut équiper tous les tracteurs Energic 500 series.

****Rotivators/Cultivateur rotatif****

Branded Energic “Rotener”, patented S.G.D.G. for tracteurs with fast gearing. Il a été adapté pour aller derrière la prise de force / prise de force de Dynabloc. ****Rear lifts options*****

****Winch/Treuil****

Model B from 1953 fitted with a winch/treuil option. (steel cable 100, 150 and 200 meters in length). Le treuil pourrait être utilisé à 6 speeds. It was primary used in the following conditions; when the soil is very heavy (à base d'argile) when cutting the earth was impossible with a towed plough, when pulling very heavy loads/logs. The winch pulley pulls the cable from the side. It could be fitted with other ancillary equipment modified for specific use. Également, vous pouvez attacher un crochet / barre pour le remorquage.

****Towing/Remorquage****

The series 500 tracteurs could pull up to 3 tonnes, as long as the trailer/remorque had good brakes!
