T.M.D. Indenor Diesel engines/moteur.
Founded in 1898 works était à Lille et est devenu CLM (Compagnie Lilloise de Moteurs) founded in April 1928 by Peugeot, producing engines for Junkers in Germany. The first CLM had vertical cylinders with opposed pistons.
Indenor (acronym for “société Industrielle de l’Est et du Nord”) – was a subsidiary of Peugeot automobiles, specializing in the manufacture of diesel engines.
In 1955 la société a changé son nom en CGM (Compagnie Générale de Moteurs) before the name was changed to Indenor with the introduction of a new type of engine, a 4 cyl. 48 hp Peugeot 203 moteur. Diesel engines were produced in large numbers for the Peugeot 403 and 404. Ces moteurs ont également été utilisés dans de nombreuses applications industrielles, military, railway tractors, sweeping machines, forklifts, airport tugs, boats, agricultural machines – Tracteurs etc. En fait, leurs moteurs ont été utilisés dans les gués, talbots, Tata, Mahindra, daf, et de nombreux autres constructeurs automobiles. Along with commercial vehicles Opel, Citroen, Peugeot etc.
Indenor also produced stationary engines for hydraulic pumps, générateurs et moteurs fournis à d'autres constructeurs automobiles.
The T.M.D. Le moteur diesel fabriqué par Indenor a été modifié pour un usage agricole loin du moteur de voiture Peugeot standard trouvé dans la Peugeot 403, une voiture très populaire à la fin des années 50 et au début des années 60.
The T.M.D. le moteur diesel était disponible à partir de 1959 to 1966 in 2 forms; TMD 80 à 1608cm3 et TMD85 à 1816 cm3. Le TMD 80 version a été utilisée dans les tracteurs diesel de l'époque; The Energic 519 modèles fermiers / vignerons. The engine was under-stressed producing just 18cv at 1600 rpm and 25cv at 2200 rpm.

The moteur was a 4 cylinder, liquide refroidi, ohv, aluminium head, avec distribution par chaîne. Very strong and reliable. It was found in many tracteurs of that era.
