Engine/Moteur. Sachs Single cylinder 604cm3, 12-14 cv, 2 stroke Air cooled, alésage 88 x course 100, (as per 712 d and tracteur 512). With a chamber of pre-combustion. Injection – Bosch. Compression 20:1

Lubrication. By constant circulation of oil held within the sump of the engine, 3.5 litres. La circulation par pression pompée également à partir de la compression du carter. (Graissage par pompe incorporée).
Cooling. Un grand ventilateur en aluminium est monté à l'avant du moteur, running on ball bearings. This system draws air into the hood circulating around the engine, ensuring cooling. ce système a été testé à des températures extrêmement élevées et s'est révélé efficace. (Refroidissement par air forcé (ventilateur puissant).
Starting. Electric start.(standard after 1963).
Air filter/Cleaner. Filter in a bath of oil.
Gears. Box S.G.D.G.La boîte de vitesses à trois vitesses est intégrée à l'offre de moteurs 6 forward and 3 reverse gears.
Clutch. Mono disc sec, within the chassis casing. Cela fonctionnait à partir d'un levier tiré vers le haut sur le guidon gauche.
Exhaust/Silencer. Monté sur le côté gauche en position frontale (viewed from the rear looking forward), away from the driver.
Steering. Independent wheel clutches makes steering very easy. De-clutching one wheel, and using reverse gear allows the motoculteur to be turned in its own width without undue effort.
Roues. Pneumatic Tyre wheels 750 x 18 front and trailing small wheels rear. Nine additional overall widths are available; 64, 66, 68, 72.5, 74.5, 76.5, 81, 83 and 85 cms. These are obtained by altering the wheels into different positions. Le blocage est indépendant pour chaque roue. Wheel width is regular-able between 0.53m and 1.03m.
Ploughing depth. Up to 12 ins (30,48 cms) dependent upon soil conditions.
Fuel consumption. 1 to 2.3 litres of fuel per hour dependent upon working conditions. The tank holds approx. 9 litres.
Throttle control. Commande depuis le dessous du côté droit du volant (while positioned facing forward).
Weight. 700kgs With additional wheel weights of approx. 20kgs single or double. Également, il est possible de remplir le pneu avec de l'eau pour plus de traction et de poids.
Speeds. With 1st gear giving 2kms – kmph, 2nd – 3kmph, 3rd – 4kmph, 4th 7kmph, 5th 12kmph and 6th gear giving 18kms per hour.

Dimensions. 3m 47cms long, (without any back tools, frame etc., 2m 20cms).
In February 1963 the 412 motoculteur (with electric start) was offered in 2 model versions.
